what is an sr 22 form?

A Sr 22 Form is a form used by your states drivers license facility to help you show proof of insurance. Usually your insurance company just send a bond directly to your secretary of state or DMV with your state and they keep this on fill showing you have and open policy with that insurance company. SR22 may also be know by Financial Responsibility insurance.

In California this for is called the Driver License for Financial Responsibility Actions (DL 691).
